Biopharmaceutical company founded in 2003 at Palo Alto in California, incorporated in Ireland since its 2012 merger with Azur Pharma and listed on Nasdaq, with its largest operations in the United States. Develops and markets medicines in sleep and neuroscience, including sodium oxybate products for narcolepsy and Epidiolex cannabidiol for rare epilepsies, and in oncology, with haematology and solid tumour products acquired through GW Pharmaceuticals and Celator among others, and runs its own research and clinical development.
