Laboratorio Estatal de Salud Pública

State public health laboratory of a Mexican state health secretariat, part of the national network of public health laboratories coordinated by the federal health institute. Carries out diagnostic testing for notifiable and epidemic diseases, microbiology, virology and molecular biology, tests water, food and other sanitary samples for the state health risk authority, supports outbreak investigation and vaccination programmes, and runs quality control and training for the laboratories of the state health system.
