American public university in Huntington, West Virginia, founded in 1837 and named after Chief Justice John Marshall. Runs the School of Pharmacy, opened in 2012 and teaching the Doctor of Pharmacy, together with the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, schools of nursing and health professions and the College of Science, with research in pharmaceutical sciences, cardiovascular pharmacology, addiction and cancer and clinical training at Cabell Huntington Hospital and Mountain Health Network.
