Merck Research Laboratory

Research organisation of the American group Merck & Co., known as Merck Research Laboratories and based at Rahway in New Jersey with further sites in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and California. Carries out discovery and development research in oncology and immuno-oncology, vaccines, infectious disease, cardiometabolic disease and neuroscience, runs preclinical and clinical development, biostatistics, regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance for the group's medicines, and produced compounds including pembrolizumab and the group's vaccine portfolio.
