Ethiopian public university in Mettu in the Illubabor zone of Oromia, established in 2011 as one of the third generation federal universities. Runs colleges of health sciences, natural and computational sciences, agriculture and forestry, engineering and technology, business and economics and social sciences, with its College of Health Sciences teaching pharmacy, nursing, midwifery and public health and running a teaching hospital.
