Northern Irish veterinary pharmaceutical company headquartered at Newry in County Down, founded in 1969 by Edward Haughey and privately owned, one of the largest veterinary medicine manufacturers in the world. Develops, makes and sells medicines for cattle, sheep, pigs, horses and companion animals, including injectable and oral antibiotics, antiparasitics, anti-inflammatories and intramammary products, runs sterile injectable and other manufacturing plants in Newry and abroad and sells in more than a hundred countries, and it also makes human injectable products under contract.
