Indian pharmaceutical and biotechnology company headquartered in New Delhi with plants in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, founded in 1984 and listed on the Indian exchanges. Makes vaccines, including fully liquid pentavalent and hexavalent combinations and oral and inactivated polio vaccines supplied to United Nations agencies and national immunisation programmes, and prescription medicines in areas such as organ transplantation, oncology, diabetes and pain, and runs its own research and development on vaccines and drug delivery.
