Indian private university in Bengaluru, Karnataka, grown out of the People's Education Society founded in 1972 and granted university status in 2013, with campuses at Banashankari, Electronic City and Hanumanthanagar and a further campus in Shivamogga. Runs a Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences teaching the Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Pharmacy alongside faculties of engineering, sciences, management, law, design and medicine with a medical college and hospital, and conducts research in pharmaceutics, pharmacology and medicinal chemistry.
