American biopharmaceutical company at Boulder in Colorado, founded in 2000 and listed on Nasdaq, focused on haematology and oncology. Sold azacitidine as Vidaza for myelodysplastic syndromes and held the European and selected international rights to thalidomide licensed from Celgene, and was bought by Celgene in a cash and share deal worth about 2.9 billion dollars that completed in March 2008, bringing Vidaza, Thalomid and Revlimid together in one company.
