Pierre Fabre (France)

French pharmaceutical and dermo-cosmetics company headquartered at Castres in the Tarn, founded in 1962 by the pharmacist Pierre Fabre and majority owned by the foundation that bears his name. Its medical care business sells oncology medicines including vinorelbine and the melanoma combination of encorafenib and binimetinib together with consumer health and prescription products, and its dermo-cosmetics business owns the Avène, Klorane, Ducray, A-Derma and René Furterer brands, with plants and research centres in south west France and a strong plant chemistry and natural extract capability.
