Rwanda Biomedical Center

Rwandan government agency in Kigali under the Ministry of Health, created in 2011 by merging several national health institutions, which implements the country's health programmes. Runs disease prevention and control including HIV, tuberculosis, malaria and immunisation, the national reference laboratory and public health laboratory network, epidemic surveillance and response, medical procurement and supply of medicines and vaccines to public facilities, and health research and training in partnership with universities and international agencies.
