Its lead compound was an oral allosteric inhibitor of the BCR::ABL1 kinase for chronic myeloid leukaemia, and it also ran programmes on a GLP-1 receptor agonist for obesity; Merck agreed to buy the company for about six point seven billion dollars in March 2026 and completed the purchase that May.
