The government is promoting a plan to broaden the delivery of prescription medicines to every patient who receives telemedicine care.
KPA President Kwon Young-hee addressed association members directly, expressing growing concerns about the proposal.
The KPA’s emergency response committee and executive board said they will devote full effort to preventing the expansion of drug delivery.
Under the current Medical Service Act, home receipt of medicines is limited to five specific categories; extending it to all telemedicine patients would require amendment of the law and discussion in the National Assembly, and no decision has been made yet.
