I am a Laboratory Toxicology Research Scientist III at UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights, where I lead the development, validation, and implementation of targeted high throughput in vitro assays to support chemical activity assessments. Before joining ULRI, I worked as a biologist in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Research and Development, within the Center for Computational Toxicology and Exposure. As part of the Biomolecular and Computational Toxicology Division’s Advanced Experimental Toxicology Models Branch, I contributed to the development and validation of new approach methods for endocrine disruption screening and chemical hazard assessment. I have developed extensive technical expertise in primary cell isolation, culture, and characterization; in vitro method development, validation, and implementation; and detection and characterization across diverse in vitro endpoints, including phenotypic profiling, high content imaging, protein detection, and gene expression. My experience across multiple drug discovery and toxicology programs reflects both adaptability and a strong aptitude for learning new techniques. I am committed to advancing public health by delivering rigorous, meaningful science that improves our understanding of chemical hazards and supports safer decision making.
