Guojun (Jane) Li, Ph.D., DABT (Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology), currently serving as a “Chief Expert” and “Leading Scientist” in the field of “Public Health Toxicology” in Beijing, a researcher at Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Beijing Academy of Preventive Medicine), and a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Capital Medical University, she is also a full member of Society of Toxicology (SOT, US). Dr. Li serves as a Standing Council Member of both the Chinese Society of Toxicology and Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, and Chair of Committee on Alternative and Translational Toxicology. With over 30 years of experience chemical safety evaluation, toxicological mechanisms research, and public health risk assessment, her expertise spans Health Risk Evaluation, Neurotoxicology, Neuropharmacology, Model Organism Toxicology, and Toxicological Safety Assessment. She has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers, including 43 SCI-indexed publications with a total of 2,398 citations. As an editor-in-chief, lead reviewer, or editorial board member, she has published 15 textbooks and professional books. Dr. Li is the first inventor on 3 granted patents and first copyright owner on 2 granted software copyrights. In addition to her academic work, she serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Toxicology and as an expert member on national committees across multiple ministries in China, including the National Health Commission, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, National Institutes for Food and Drug Control, State Administration for Market Regulation, and National Disease Control and Prevention Administration.
