Biografía

I am a research scientist with 10+ years of experience in infectious diseases, and my interest is in metabolomics, drug discovery and gene/genome modification. I have led and contributed to numerous multidisciplinary research projects aimed at elucidating fundamental biological processes and developing novel therapeutic interventions. My experience in metabolomics has aided in elucidating and understanding why certain infectious diseases occur in humans. My expertise in drug discovery from medicinal plants has led to the identification of promising lead compounds for the treatment of infectious diseases. I have extensive experience in conducting cell culture experiments and performing drug assays, both in vitro and in vivo, to assess antiparasitic activity. My skill in gene modification to investigate protein-protein interaction has provided knowledge into intracellular processes that occur in infectious agents. I am proficient in utilizing mass spectroscopy, advanced microscopy and flow cytometry techniques to visualize and analyze cellular processes and metabolism with precision and accuracy. I am passionate about driving innovation in biomedical research and leveraging my expertise to address global health challenges.
