I am a Mastercard Foundation Scholar and MSc Pharmacology student at the University of Oxford with a background in pharmacy and a strong interest in translational biomedical research. My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease, to advance the discovery of innovative therapeutic strategies that promote healthy aging and improve quality of life. My work integrates pharmacology, computational drug discovery, bioinformatics, systems pharmacology, molecular modeling, and evidence synthesis to investigate disease mechanisms, identify therapeutic targets, and evaluate novel and repurposed drug candidates. I have contributed to peer-reviewed publications and scholarly book chapters covering Alzheimer's disease, neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, drug repurposing, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and evidence-based pharmaceutical practice. My long-term research vision is to bridge computational and experimental pharmacology to accelerate the development of precision therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. I aspire to establish an internationally recognized research program that advances innovative therapies while strengthening biomedical research capacity across Africa through collaborative science, mentorship, and translational discovery.
