Electronic Engineer specialized in Control Systems and Industrial Automation from the Salesian Polytechnic University (Cuenca, Ecuador). Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, UFRJ (Brazil), and currently a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the same institution. I have extensive experience in Electromedical and Acoustic Engineering, with an emphasis on the manufacture, calibration, and application of medical equipment. I have built a solid research career, leading and implementing projects within the GIIRA, GIE, GIIB, and LAPIS research groups, in areas such as Robotics, Renewable Energies, and Biomedical Engineering, with multiple publications in international conferences and notable participation in national innovation contests. I also have experience as a trainer in biosafety, technical standards, and industrial safety. I am currently a Human Resources Fixation Fellow of the CNPq in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, working on the project “Objective Detection of Evoked Responses During Sensory Stimulation.” In parallel, I serve as a faculty member in the Biomedical Systems Engineering program at the Catholic University of Cuenca, where I teach specialized courses that integrate engineering, data science, and health technology, fostering practical training, critical thinking, and innovation among future professionals in the field.
