Matiwos Tekalign is a lecturer at University of Gondar, Ethiopia where he researches and teaches biomedical engineering. He graduated with bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia in 2016 and master’s degree in health information technology from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda in 2020. He has been working as a biomedical engineer at National Metrology Institute of Ethiopia and Assosa general hospital for two years. He has awarded certificate from Addis Ababa University and African Biomedical Engineering Consortium for his health care innovation on fetal heart rare monitoring system during pregnancy. His work focuses specifically on eHealth and data science, and want to advance his future research career on similar area.
