Degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Ceará - UFC (1995), Master's and Doctorate in Pharmacology from the UFC (1999 and 2002, respectively), Junior Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology from the UFC (2007) and Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship (2015) at the Brigham and Womens Hospital - Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Full Professor of Pharmacology in the Medicine Course at UFC (Sobral Campus); Permanent Professor of the Master's Degree in Health Sciences at UFC (Sobral Campus), Professional Master's Degree in Clinical Pharmacology (UFC) and the Postgraduate Program in Translational Medicine (UFC). Founder and first Coordinator of the Ethics Committees for the Use of Animals (CEUA) at the UFC - Sobral Campus (Ordinance No. 1.793/2015) and of the CEUA of the Center for Research and Development of Medicines (NPDM) at the UFC. She works mainly on the bioprospecting of natural products, pre-clinical and clinical trials on pain and inflammation.
