Dr.Mohamed Abdellatif is a Canadian clinical pharmacist with over 20 years of experience in hospital and clinical pharmacy practice. He currently serves as the Head of Clinical Pharmacy at Burjeel Holdings, where he leads the development and governance of clinical pharmacy services across multiple hospitals in the United Arab Emirates. Dr.Abdellatif holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, is a pharmacotherapy specialist, and his primary areas of expertise include critical care pharmacotherapy, antimicrobial stewardship, and medication safety systems. His research interests focus on evaluating clinical and economic outcomes of pharmacist interventions in intensive care settings and advancing the integration of clinical pharmacists into multidisciplinary critical care teams. In addition to his leadership role, Dr. Abdellatif holds a teaching position with the University of British Columbia, contributing to the education and mentorship of pharmacy students and international practitioners. He is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP).
