Philip J. Schneider is Professor, Division of Practice and Science, College of Pharmacy, The Ohio State University. In this position he is responsible for teaching in in the Graduate Program in Health-System Pharmacy Administration and advising student research projects in the MS Health-Systems Graduate Program. He also assists with the College’s global initiatives and interprofessional education. Before that, he was Professor and Associate Dean for Academic and Professional Affairs for the University of Arizona, College of Pharmacy at the Phoenix Biomedical campus for 10 years. In this position, he provided oversight, development, and administration of educational initiatives including teaching, service and scholarship activities at the newly created Phoenix Biomedical Campus. Prior to that position, he held positions at the Ohio State University including most recently Clinical Professor and Director of the Latiolais Leadership Program at the Ohio State University. He is a past president of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and member of the ASHP Visiting Leaders Program faculty, and past president of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (A.S.P.E.N.), having served for ten years as the first Editor-in-Chief of Nutrition in Clinical Practice, one of its official publications. Professor Schneider serves on several Boards including the ARxIUM Scientific Advisory Board, Alliance for Safe Biologic Medicines International Advisory Board, and PipelineRx Executive Advisory Board.
