SEPINEO™ P 600 is a multifunctional thickening, emulsifying, stabilizing, and texturing agent, supplied ready to use as a liquid polymer for topical drug formulations such as gels and creams. Compatible with a wide range of APIs, it acts as an excellent pH-independent thickener (3-12) with strong solvent-thickening properties, a stabilizer/emulsifier able to formulate up to 35-40% oil without added surfactant (cream gels), a co-stabilizer that improves stability across all O/W emulsion types, and a texturizing agent giving a shiny, non-greasy finish. It carries a Type IV DMF and is listed in the Inactive Ingredient Database.
