Teaching Assistant

I had my BSc degree in Pharmacy major from Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in May 2022. Graduating with "Excellence with honors" and being the first in my class, this gave me the opportunity to apply for Teaching Assistant (TA) vacancies at my alma mater. I pursued my dream by starting my position as a TA in Clinical Pharmacy department at my alma mater in April 2023. I worked for a year and a half as a TA where I had the chance to teach selected clinical topics from pharmacotherapy courses such as: Diabetes mellitus, Multiple sclerosis, Pneumonia, Sepsis, etc. Moroever, I witnessed and contributed in courses' development in my department and implementing Objective Structural Clinical Examination (OSCE) for the first time. I always had the dream of doing my graduate studies abroad. Currently, I am a graduate student and a Master's candidate (MSc) at Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Univeristy of Alberta, Canada since September 2024. I am a member of Neuro-CPK lab (https://www.neuro-cpk-lab.com/), which is honed in inspecting neurocritical care pharmacotherapy and altered action and disposition of drugs in critical illness.
