Chukwuemelie is a medical biochemist and a lecturer in the Department of Medical Biochemistry, University of Nigeria. His research interests include phytomedicine, nutritional biochemistry, reproductive/developmental toxicology and immunotoxicology. His current research focus is on chemical carcinogenesis and mutagenicity of persistent environmental pollutants and the putative role of nutraceuticals/phytochemicals in disease susceptibility and amelioration.
