-UK graduate of the UCL School of Pharmacy, University of London with First Class Honours. Ranked 1st in his class at the UCL School of Pharmacy, London throughout all the 4 years of the MPharm degree, including individual semesters. The MPharm (Master of Pharmacy) degree is an undergraduate Honours degree but at Master’s Level. Specialist modules chosen were Pharmacology and Molecular Basis of disease (included cardiovascular diseases). -He also won numerous prizes from various Pharmaceutical companies for scientific and academic excellence, as follows: The Roche Prize; The GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) Prize; The Greenich Memorial Prize; The Sanofi Aventis Prize; The Pfizer Prize; The Blandford Prize; The William-Morrison Prize; in addition to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain Prize 2008 for the best overall performance in the MPharm degree. -Did a postgraduate MSc degree in Clinical Pharmacy, with Distinction (First Class Honours), with research in heart failure. -Did a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences from King's College London, The Department of Cardiology, St Thomas' Hospital, the British Heart Foundation Centre for Research Excellence in London. -His recent published article in 2021 on COVID-19 and TLR4 in Mediators of Inflammation won the Article of the Year 2021 Award. -Research interests include: Cardiology, macrophages, cardiovascular disorders, TLR4, COVID-19, cardiac fibroblast, immunology, ACE2, cardiovascular pharmacology, biochemistry. Does lab-based research work and has clinical skills. -While working as an Assistant Lecturer for several years, he taught undergraduate students various medical and clinical pharmacy modules including anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and Pharmacotherapy (Clinical Pharmacy/Clinical Pharmacology)-1,2,3 and 4 (different levels).
