Dr. Nagaich received his B.Pharm. from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India, M.Pharm. from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences [RGUHS], Bangalore, India and & Ph.D. from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India. Dr. Upendra Nagaich is working as Research Coordinator, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida [Uttar Pradesh] India. A key focus of Dr. Nagaich’s research is the application of nanotechnology for drug delivery systems. Dr. Nagaich is currently applying these technologies to the enhancement of treatment options for diabetes mellitus, atopic dermatitis and Parkinson’s therapy etc. Dr. Nagaich has filed 13 Indian patents [in process of technology transfer for 3 patents], published more than 50 high quality papers in international and national journals of repute, invited as speaker in various conferences, presented papers at various national and international conferences and seminars and is an author of 02 books published from Germany. Dr. Nagaich guided 01 thesis of Ph.D., 29 thesis of M.Pharm. and presently guiding 08 thesis of Ph.D. & 05 thesis of M.Pharm. His biography has been included in the renowned directory "Who's Who in the World [USA] 2011 and published in the 29th Edition, November 2011. Dr. Nagaich is a recipient of the Young Scientist Award given by Dhule Charitable Society, Dhule in recognition of outstanding research contribution in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Award of Excellence in Pharmacy given by Society for Rural Development & Empowerment, New Delhi, Young Research Pharmacist Award given for his contribution in the field of pharmaceutical research, Young Pharmacy Teacher Award given for his active contribution in the field of pharmaceutical education, Young Performer Award given for the outstanding work in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Distinguished Alumni Award by Acharya Alumni Association of Pharmacy, Bangalore. Dr. Nagaich is a Fellow member of SPER and Life Member of IPA, APTI and IPGA. In addition to serving as Secretary, Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research [SPER] and currently serves as the Editor, Journal of Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology & Research [JAPTR] [An Thomson Reuters, SCOPUS and PubMed indexed international research journal published by Wolters Kluwer Health, Philadelphia, USA] and as an Editor-in-Chief, SPER Times [A Pharma Magazine Conjoining Corporate with Academia]. SPER Times is an Official News Magazine of Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research. He was the member of under graduate board of studies in pharmaceutical sciences, Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak [Haryana]. He was the Executive Council [EC] Member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association [IPA] Gwalior Branch. Dr. Nagaich was Mentor of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA)-Student Forum 2010-11 for Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh State. He is on the editorial board of many international and national research journals.
