Resumen profesional
Medicinal chemist and translational drug discovery scientist with end-to-end experience advancing novel small-molecule scaffolds from early discovery to preclinical candidates. At UCSF, I develop covalent inhibitors targeting oncogenic Gαq/11 signaling in uveal melanoma, using an integrated design–make–test–analyze (DMTA) workflow that connects structure-guided design, practical synthesis, and rigorous biological evaluation. Previously at GIST, I led programs on; (i) P2X3R antagonists for neuropathic pain as a non-opioid analgesics, and (ii) TG2–p53 pathway inhibitors for renal cell carcinoma, resulting in peer-reviewed publications, secured intellectual property, and successful technology transfer to industry. I also actively engage in scientific communication, including lectures on foundational AI/ML concepts for wet-lab scientists, scientific presentations, grant and manuscript writing, and mentoring graduate students.
My skill set spans medicinal chemistry works and structure-guided drug design, complemented by chemical biology approaches, including biochemical, biophysical, and cell-based assays. My expertise focuses on the discovery, design, and development of small molecules based on the biological targets of disease mechanisms.
