My research interests primarily focus on advanced drug delivery systems, particularly lipid-based nanocarriers for topical and transdermal applications. I am especially interested in the development and characterization of topical and transdermal formulations aimed at improving the therapeutic management of skin diseases, as well as systemic conditions that can be effectively treated through transdermal delivery, thereby enhancing patient compliance. My work includes exploring how vesicular systems can enhance skin penetration, increase drug stability, and improve localized delivery while minimizing systemic exposure. Overall, my research is driven by the goal of designing innovative, patient-friendly drug delivery systems that overcome the limitations of conventional formulations and offer superior treatment efficacy.
