Pedro Correia accomplished his Master's degree in biomedical engineering from NOVA University of Lisbon in 2020. During 2020 and 2021, he actively contributed to a research project entitled "MiniVent – A low-cost ventilator for emergency use" at the Chronic Diseases Research Centre (CEDOC) - NOVA Medical School- NOVA University of Lisbon.
He received a Doctoral Grant from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) – Portugal and is a Ph.D. Student of Biomedical Engineering at LIBPhys - Laboratory for Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, and Radiation Physics at NOVA School of Science and Technology - NOVA University of Lisbon.
His current research interests encompass neuroscience, electrophysiology, and biomedical signal processing.
Pedro has lectured Imagiology and Electromagnetism as an invited assistant at the Department of Physics - NOVA School of Science and Technology - NOVA University of Lisbon.
