Dr. Chennu MM Prasada Rao is working as a Professor and Principal at Maheshwari Pharmaceutical College Odisha and Previously Worked as Dean and Professor at Royal School of Pharmacy the assam royal global university Guwahati from 01-09-2055 to 24-12-2025 and Worked as Professor and Former research director at Raffles university Neemrana form 21-12-2021 to 30-08-2024 the Department of Pharmaceutical chemistry at QIS College of Pharmacy, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh from 17-11-2011 to 20-12-2021. He had completed Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JNTU Kakinada, Kakinada, in the year 2017, M. Pharm from Annamalai University in the year 2008 B. Pharmacy from ANU in the year 2006, having more than 12 Years of teaching experience in academic and research activities. He has published more than 48 publications in reputed indexed National and international journals and has the two industrials MOU with the innovative informatics, Hyderabad, and Atlantis Phytotech Hyderabad, and presented ten research oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences. He is the life member of various professional bodies like the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India(APTI), Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER), Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America, International Association of Engineers (IAENG) Society of Bioinformatics, Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors. He has been coauthor for four practical eBooks related to the pharmacy and has one patent as a coauthor in the synthesis of novel substituted benzimidazole derivatives. he has received an appreciation certificate from AP Government for NSS activities conducted in the year 2013-15. he awarded as best researcher award from the 1st International Research Awards on SCIENCE, HEALTH, AND ENGINEERING conducted by ScienceFather held on 11-12, January 2020, Chennai, India. based on the research conducted in the field of Science, Health & Engineering, and Received Global Teacher Role Model Award-2020 from MVLA Trust organized online Zoom meeting held on 5 Oct-2020. Under his guideship, 25 students completed their Pharmacy as per the JNTU-K University. His area of interest green synthesis of drug molecules, microwave-assisted synthesis of drugs and their biological screening, designing and Insilco analysis of small organic molecules and molecular docking studies, Method development, and validation of drugs and formulations using modern analytical techniques.
