Dr. Scott Bembenek earned his PhD in theoretical chemical physics and is a former National Research Council Fellow. With over two decades of experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery and computational chemistry, he is an expert drug discovery scientist. Scott has been a key member of teams that developed several clinical candidates and notably created a computational approach that, within just two years, led to a clinical oncology candidate now entering Phase 2 trials. He has led multiple high-profile projects from hit identification to clinical candidacy. Currently, as the Founder and CEO of Denovicon Therapeutics, Scott is revolutionizing drug discovery with a groundbreaking computational platform. By masterfully integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced physics-based modeling, the platform accelerates the development of next-generation small-molecule drugs across multiple therapeutic areas.
