Turkish public university in Ankara, established in 1946 as the first university founded in the Republic of Turkey, built around faculties whose roots go back to the 1920s and 1930s. Teaches across medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, science, agriculture, engineering, law, political science and the humanities, and its Faculty of Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the country, teaches pharmaceutical technology, analytical and pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and clinical pharmacy with substantial drug and natural product research.
