American biopharmaceutical company in San Francisco, founded in 1993 as FibroGen and renamed Kyntra Bio in 2026 after selling its Chinese business and refocusing on oncology and rare disease. Developed roxadustat for anaemia in chronic kidney disease and now works on an antibody drug conjugate against CD46 with a companion imaging agent in prostate cancer, together with earlier work on connective tissue growth factor antibodies.
