Research institute of the CNRS and the Université de Toulouse on the Oncopole cancer campus in the south of the city, opened in 2011 to bring physics, chemistry and engineering to biology. Works on optical imaging and microscopy, microfluidics and lab on chip systems, three dimensional cell and tumour models used for testing drugs, and chemical biology, and provides platforms and joint projects with hospitals and companies.
