Saudi public university in Sakaka in the Al-Jouf region in the north of the kingdom, founded in 2005 out of colleges of the earlier Al-Jouf branch, with a further campus at Qurayyat. Runs a College of Pharmacy teaching the Doctor of Pharmacy with departments of pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and clinical pharmacy, alongside colleges of medicine, dentistry, applied medical sciences, nursing, science, engineering and business, with its own university hospital and research on medicinal plants of the region.
