Lupane State University

Zimbabwean public university at Lupane in Matabeleland North, established by act of parliament in 2005 and the first university in the province, with a campus also in Bulawayo. Teaches through faculties of agricultural sciences, applied sciences with chemistry, biology, food science and nutrition, humanities and commerce, and carries out research in agriculture and livestock, food processing and nutrition, natural products and environmental science for its dry region.
