National Medical College

Nepali private medical college and teaching hospital at Birgunj in Parsa district on the Indian border, established in 2001 and affiliated to Tribhuvan University with recognition by the Nepal Medical Council. Teaches the undergraduate medical degree together with postgraduate courses and nursing, runs a teaching hospital of about a thousand beds on its single campus of some forty acres, and operates its own preclinical and clinical departments including pharmacology, clinical laboratories and hospital pharmacy.
