Palacký University, Olomouc

Czech public university in Olomouc in Moravia, founded in 1573 and the second oldest in the country. Teaches through its faculty of medicine and dentistry, its faculty of health sciences and its faculty of science with chemistry, biochemistry and biology, works with the Olomouc university hospital for clinical teaching and trials, and carries out research in medicinal and organic chemistry, molecular and translational medicine and biotechnology through its own institutes, including a translational medicine institute and a regional centre for agricultural and biotechnology research.
