Tbilisi State Medical University

Georgian public medical university in Tbilisi, whose teaching goes back to the medical faculty founded in 1918 and which became an independent medical institute and later a university. Teaches through faculties of pharmacy, medicine, stomatology, public health and physical medicine and rehabilitation with programmes in English for international students, runs its own university clinics and teaching hospitals, and carries out research in pharmaceutical sciences and drug technology, medicinal plants and clinical medicine with its own laboratories.
