Truman Medical Center

American public safety net health system in Kansas City, Missouri, long known as Truman Medical Centers and renamed University Health in 2021, the main teaching hospital of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Runs its Hospital Hill and Lakewood hospitals with emergency and trauma care, acute medical and surgical services, obstetrics, behavioural health and a large outpatient clinic network for a mainly low income population, and operates its own laboratories, imaging services and hospital pharmacy with residency training.
