Zayed Military Hospital

Emirati military hospital at Zayed Military City in Abu Dhabi, the only military hospital in the United Arab Emirates and the premier hospital of its armed forces medical services. A ten storey building of about 1.2 million square feet with some three hundred and sixty five beds, expandable during national emergencies, it covers all medical and surgical sub specialties with centres of excellence in cardiology, trauma and burn care, runs its own pharmacy service and a nursing and physician teaching facility approved by the National Institute for Health Specialties as the first military institution to award the UAE Board, and operates satellite hospitals of about a hundred and twenty beds each at Sharjah and Al Ain.
