A study conducted by Rigshospitalet, Denmark, aimed to evaluate the development of hemolysis and variation in isokinetic muscle strength in patients with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) or multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN). The study involved two groups of patients: those shifted from 3- or 6-weekly treatment with intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) to weekly treatment with subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIG), and those shifted from SCIG treatment with Subcuvia or Hizentra to Gammanorm. The study, which was completed in 2015, had 36 participants and was sponsored by Rigshospitalet, Denmark, in collaboration with Aarhus University Hospital and Octapharma Pharmazeutika Produktionsges.m.b.H.
