The UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is issuing a patient alert card for men prescribed finasteride. The card is intended to raise awareness of the drug’s psychiatric side effects and sexual dysfunction, including the possibility that sexual dysfunction may continue after treatment is stopped.
