PhD candidate in Medicinal Chemistry at University of Houston College of Pharmacy with research interests in medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, computational drug discovery, and translational oncology therapeutics. Current work focuses on the development of allosteric androgen receptor modulators targeting the BF-3 pocket for treatment-resistant prostate cancer. Additional research includes covalent and reversible covalent biologic conjugation strategies involving cytokine-targeted therapeutics and IL-1 receptor modulation. Experienced in small-molecule design and synthesis, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, luciferase reporter assays, CETSA, protein expression, and functional cell-based assays. Co-inventor on provisional patent applications and author of peer-reviewed publications in anticancer drug discovery.
