Undergraduate in Pharmacy at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Currently a PhD candidate in Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, has a Master’s degree in the same field. His research focuses on inflammation, particularly with inflammatory lung diseases. Currently works investigating novel therapeutic strategies, including the development and evaluation of phosphodiesterase-4 inhibitors in experimental models of inflammatory diseases at the Laboratory of Inflammation at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz).
