Amikacin Injection

This amikacin injection (2ml:0.2g / 200,000 units), manufactured directly by Cisen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to USP and BP standards with samples available, is an aminoglycoside antibacterial indicated for severe infections from sensitive Gram-negative bacilli and methicillin-sensitive staphylococcus, including bacteremia, endocarditis, lower respiratory tract infection, bone and joint infection, biliary and abdominal infection, complicated urinary tract infection, and skin and soft tissue infection. Because it resists most aminoglycoside-inactivating enzymes, it is particularly useful against strains resistant to kanamycin, gentamicin, or tobramycin, and is also used topically for severe traumatic infections and ophthalmically for conjunctivitis and keratitis; it works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and disrupting cell membrane integrity. It is sold into markets across North America, Europe, Australasia, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
