ChargePoint Technology sell "Autoclave Passive Opener"

The specifically designed Autoclave Passive Opener ensures effective sterilization of the product-contact and sealing areas of a Passive valve and its connected container/IBC. It contains the interlocks of a typical Active unit, letting it open a connected Passive unit; during an autoclave cycle, this exposes the Passive unit and attached container/IBC's product-contact surfaces to sterilization. Rather than a typical Active/Passive seat, the opening device uses a 'cruciform' disc that maximizes the Passive unit's surface area exposed during cleaning. Its GMP-oriented design ensures condensate drains effectively from the opener and connected Passive unit and container. It fits securely onto the Passive valve without being permanently fixed inside the autoclave via a coupling to the autoclave's internal structure, though an option exists to fix it in place within the autoclave.
