MSc Dinis Moreira obtained the degree of Master in Bioengineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in 2015. During his master thesis he developed a mobile vibration-based classification system for identification of knee osteoarthritis, developed in Fraunhofer AICOS. Since 2015 he is a researcher at AICOS research center from the Association Fraunhofer Portugal Research in the areas of human motion analysis and fall prevention. His main research areas are related to biomedical instrumentation, signal and image processing, sensor fusion, pattern recognition, time series analysis, data mining, machine learning and deep learning..
