Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Eduardo obtained his MSc and Ph.D. in Pharmacological Sciences from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. His research focused on applying nonlinear effects modeling to describe the pharmacokinetics of immunosuppressive drugs such as tacrolimus and mycophenolic acid in kidney transplant patients. In February 2021, Eduardo joined the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Cape Town. Currently, he is working with the pharmacometrics of drugs used to treat multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
